The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The provider issue made for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and increase entry to Social Assistance services,” the status sassa agency said.
